Judice Services Inc FAQ

Refer to the following frequently asked questions for answers to common questions. Call us today for more information.

  • 1. What is causing the rust stains in my bathtub and faucets, and are they treatable?

Iron in water is either ferric or ferrous, which causes the statins. Iron in water is not good: it gives a metallic taste, stains all fixtures, and when exposed to air, it will cloud up and deposit a yellow to reddish-brown sediment in the water.

  • 2. What is the difference between your residential drinking water systems and water filters I can buy in the supermarket?

Water filters bought in the supermarket only address taste and odor problems: they merely cover up the problems.

Our water treatment systems remove contaminants that cause odor and taste problems and improve the water quality.

  • 3. What is the difference between hard and soft water?

Hard water contains minerals that create stains and build-up on fixtures, while in softened water, these minerals have been removed.

There are no health issues associated with hard water usage; however, soft water leaves cleaned products clear, clean, and spot-free.

  • 4. Is soft water safe for water plants?

Soft water has added salt that may disturb the chemistry of the soil once the water evaporates. To be on the safer side, use hard water.

  • 5. How often will maintenance on my system be needed? Do you perform routine maintenance?

We offer scheduled maintenance of your water system for an additional cost, but these units require very little maintenance.

Depending upon the application of the system, routine maintenance can vary from every three months to three years.
